Why I started this blog

About three years ago I was so frustrated with my life.  I kept feeling like nothing was going my way.  I kept praying and asking for things and never receiving them and I didn't understand why.  It was then I went to a local bookstore and "by chance" found this book, "Ask and You Shall Receive"  I purchased it of course because I was frustrated with asking and not receiving.  Well, I read the book and couldn't get past a certain aspect.  It seems the author of the book is an entity, called Abraham, speaking through a woman named Esther Hicks.  I couldn't get past that.  It seemed so freaky to me.  I put the book away.

However, the book kept reappearing.  When I was most frustrated, I'd suddenly "find the book" while I was searching for something else.

I started reading it again and Abraham's teachings started to make sense to me but, I couldn't or wouldn't grasp their full meaning.  My life started getting worse and worse and worse.  How?  Well, for one thing, I started earning more money than I had ever earned in my life and yet I was falling deeper and deeper into debt.  My house was a shabbles.  It was smelly and dirty and messy.  My work was going down the tubes fast and I had no, love life!  It seemed the harder I worked to get out of debt the worst things would get.

I finally got to a point where I said, I don't want this anymore.  I need help!  Help me!

I found a series of books all saying the same thing...and then, I came back to Abraham Hicks... This time I learned about the Vortex.  Of course Abraham was talking about the Vortex years ago.  I just never listened.  I had ears but did not hear.

Apparently, it's when we are in the Vortex that we can ask and what we ask for we shall receive.  What helps me to get into the Vortex?  Telling a different story.

So, that's what this blog is all about, me documenting the different stories I tell and also documenting the results.
